Project Pigs
We began raising pigs in 2003 with four sows and some beginner's luck. Since then our herd has grown to over 30 sows.
4-H Project Pigs
During the spring, we sell project pigs for youth 4-H. These pigs are priced between $300 and $350 and typically weigh between 40 and 65 pounds. We begin selling them in mid-March and continue until mid-April. Please contact us in January to get on our
4-H list.
Weaner Pigs
Our sows farrow twice a year. The pigs born during the summer are sold as commercial weaner pigs from mid-July to early October. Commercial pigs are priced at $3 per pound and typically weigh between 30 and 40 pounds.
